2021-22 SUFFOLK WOMEN'S INDOOR TRACK & FIELD ROSTER 

BOSTON – Over the off-season, head coach Will Feldman has assembled a 21-member recruiting class to boost the Suffolk women's indoor track & field roster for the 2021-22 campaign.  

"I'm extremely excited for this year's freshman class, and I've been counting down the days until their first meet since May," Feldman said. "It's a group that's going to have a great deal of success over the next four years, and will make an immediate impact on the program this year." 

Feldman continued, "This class is talented and deep across every event group. There are five, maybe six women in this class who I could see winning an individual championship at conference this season. I fully expect our women's team to be vying for the GNAC Championship, and our freshmen will be leading the way for us." 

Many members of the recruiting class got their collegiate careers underway this fall on various rosters with seven competing for Suffolk's Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Champion women's cross country team in Christina Baggit, Katelynn Brunt, Cassidy Jarish, Gwen Koziara, Shannon MacArthur, Therese McKeagney and Melissa Sapini. A pair of Rams' women's soccer players, sophomores Alicia Bibi and Klaudia Rushi, bring their talents from the pitch to the track, while Julia Leavey competed on the hardwood for the volleyball team.  

"I honestly think every single newcomer in this year's class could points at the conference championship in February," Feldman said. "Some athletes to watch for are Gwen (Koziara) in the distance events, Julia (Leavey), who could win the 60 hurdles, long jump and high jump, Catherine Madden in hurdles, Emily Concepcion in sprints and Caitlyn Filloramo in throws."  

Suffolk's 2021-22 campaign gets underway this Saturday, Dec. 4 at the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener at Boston University.
