Drew Goldstein joined Suffolk Athletics as the women's tennis head coach in the summer of 2022 and began his second season that fall.

Goldstein's first season, 2022, was not scattered with athletic success as the Rams went 1-11 overall and 0-7 versus Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) counterparts. Caren Urbano stood out individually as An All-CCC Singles Third-Team selection. The team competed in a spring season for the first time since 2008.

Academically, however, Suffolk shined. Bianca Prescott scooped up CCC Scholar-Athlete honors. The senior captain headlined a quartet of blue-and-gold student-athletes, which included Barbara Consales, Urbano and Rachel Hill, all of who received College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honors, a distinction handed out to student-athletes for their combined perforamnces on the court and in the classroom. It is the longest-running and most prestigious academic and athletic award for student-athletes to receive.

Suffolk provided Goldstein with his first collegiate head coaching opportunity; however, his resume is tacked with two decades of experience of running junior and adult programs. He has spent his coaching career on the sidelines of multiple U.S. Tennis Association (USTA) New England Junior teams. He led five of those squads to national championships and was tabbed the 2009 USTA New England Junior Tennis Coach of the Year.

In addition to his experience at the USTA, he is in his 10th year as a Tennis Professional at the Longfellow Racquet Club in Natick, Massachusetts.

Prior to his stint at Longfellow, he served as the Assistant Head Tennis Pro and the Director of Junior Tennis at the International Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport, Rhode Island.

Although Suffolk is his first collegiate coaching gig, Goldstein is no stranger to the collegiate circuit as he competed as a student-athlete for Union College from 2001-05.
