BOSTON – Suffolk women's tennis caps off its 2023 campaign Friday, Oct. 13 when it visits Nichols for a 5:30 p.m. Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) contest.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk looks to end its season on a high note and snap a five-match skid that sends the Rams to Dudley, Massachusetts 2-9 overall and 1-4 versus CCC foes.

Caren Urbano, Suffolk's ace, is 4-6 on the year. She is a main part to Suffolk's usual No. 1 doubles team alongside Rachel Hilil. The twosome is 1-8 on the year. Anastasiya Zakharava has compiled the best singles mark at 5-6 split between courts three (0-1), four (1-2) and five (4-3).

BISON BREAKDOWN
Nichols holds a 5-2 overall mark and 2-1 CCC record heading into Friday, which the Bison opens up at 3:30 p.m. versus Curry.  

Antonia Carrero and Charis Vogler have split time as the Bison's ace. Carrero holds a 2-3 ledger, while Vogler sports a 1-1 mark. Johanna Schroeder is the most successful singles player for Nichols with a 6-1 record on courts two (4-1), three (1-0) and four (1-0).

The doubles team of Carrero and Vogler have spent the most time as the top tandem. That twosome is 3-3 on the first court. Vogler has also partnered with Cora Brosch as the first doubles play and they are 1-0.
