BOSTON – Suffolk women's tennis pulls the curtain back on its Commonwealth Coast Conference calendar Tuesday, Sept. 19 when it visits Gordon for a 3:00 p.m. league debut.

Suffolk women's tennis fell to Rhode Island College, 9-0, Thursday afternoon at the RIC Tennis Center.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk is 1-2 on the season after splitting its week with a 5-4 win at St. Joseph (Conn.) and a 9-0 shutout at Rhode Island College.  

The Rams ace Caren Urbano holds a 2-1 record. Urbano a part of the only blue-and-gold tandem to own a win this season as well. The senior has teamed up with junior Rachel Hill as the top tandem in every match. The pair sits 1-2. Nia Bebb and Anastasiya Zakharava each boast a 2-1 singles ledger as well. The former, a freshman, has played exclusively in the third slot, while the latter, a sophomore, has competed at No. 5.   

ANCHORWOMEN ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
Rhode Island College sits 0-1 on the year after it fell to Salve Regina, 6-3.  

The Anchorwomen's team of Lauren Macera and Etrica Botelho are unbeaten (1-0) in doubles play as the top tandem.  

In singles action, Anna Vygoder and Li hsiu Hou sport 1-0 marks on the fourth and sixth courts, respectively. 

FIGHTING SCOTS FACTS
Gordon has sandwiched 9-0 wins over Simons and Curry around an 8-1 setback to Assumption to carry a 2-1 overall and 1-0 CCC mark into Tuesday's tangle. 

Serena Ross is the only Fighting Scot to remain unbeaten through three matches in singles play. She has played every outing in the second slot. All other Gordon singles rackets, including its ace Annette Kim, sport a 2-1 record. 

Kim and Ross have partnered up in doubles play. The top duo is 2-1.
