DUDLEY, Mass. – Suffolk women's tennis fell to Nichols, 8-1, in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Wednesday at the Robinson Tennis Courts.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Nichols started the match with two points as Suffolk did not travel with enough players to field a third doubles team or a sixth singles slot.  

The Bison set up match point after sweeping the first and second doubles courts quickly. The hosts sealed the conference contest with a golden match by Kara Stankewitz over Giuliana Claus.  

Nichols went on to wrap up victories in singles play on courts three, one and four to take an 8-0 advantage before Alyssa Blade put the Rams on the board. The junior defeated Victoria Palkon, 7-5, 10-7, to eliminate the shutout.
