Suffolk University Athletics, following guidance from the University's health and safety protocols, Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC), Centers for Disease Control and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, plans to allow fans to attend home athletic contests during the 2021-22 academic and athletic year.

Fans, whether vaccinated or unvaccinated, can attend games. They must be masked the entire time they are on campus, pursuant to institutional policy, and complete a health screening form at the security desk of each building upon arrival. This policy applies to home contests played on campus at the Ridgeway Building's Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court, as well as the Emmons Horrigan O'Neil Memorial Rink and the Louis E. Porrazzo Memorial Skating Rink.

For outdoor outings, specifically at East Boston Memorial Park, fans are asked to respect COVID safety protocols. At this time, masks will not be mandated for fans no matter vaccinated status at outdoor venues.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk fell in its last four matches of September to dip to 2-5 on the season and 1-4 in CCC matches.

Sarah Mezini brings in the best singles record with an unbeaten 3-0 mark exclusively as the Rams' ace. Ilda Ascic (1-3) and Kendall Smith (1-4) have spent time on the blue-and-gold's first court as well. Bianca Prescott (3-3) has three singles wins to her credit also on the lower tier of the Rams' ladder.

In doubles, Mezini and her partners have proven to be the toughest teams. Mezini has paired with Ascic for a 1-1 ledger and is unbeaten (1-0) when working alongside Smith.

BISON BREAKDOWN
Nichols bested Salve Regina, 8-1, Saturday to improve to 7-2 on the year and 5-1 in CCC clashes.

Antonia Carrero has played every match in the first singles slot for the Bison and lost just one battle to sit 8-1. Johanna Schroeder matches Carrero's single record with an 8-1 mark of her own divided between courts two through four.

Carrero has teamed up with Kelley Carlin as Nichols second doubles squad. The twosome is 10-1 this year overall and 7-1 in dual matches. Kara Stankewitz and IsaBella Winter, meanwhile, have played the bulk of the action as the top tandem and boast a 4-4 record.
