LAST TIME OUT
With the match tied 4-4, the Suffolk women's tennis team's fate at UMass Dartmouth fell into the racquet of Rebecca Eshoo on the third singles court Tuesday afternoon at the UMD Tennis Courts. The senior captain did not skip a beat and took down the Corsairs' Maggie Lebrun, 6-4, 6-3, to lift the Rams to victory.

Eshoo's first singles win of the season pushed Suffolk's season record to 3-2, and handed Dartmouth its first defeat of the year as the Corsairs slipped to 2-1.

RUNDOWN ON THE RAMS
Suffolk has its eyes on its third GNAC title as it commences with league play.

Doubles play from the Rams has been up and down at various points throughout the 2015 campaign, but Suffolk did well to claim nine doubles points thus far. The play of Valentine Medina and Aidiana Sagyndykova has highlighted the Rams doubles effort as the top tandem boasts an undefeated 3-0 record. Medina also boasts a perfect mark when she partners with Abby Trigilio. In the second slot, Medina and Trigilio are 2-0.

Medina and Sagyndykova have been dialed in atop the Rams' singles lineup as the sophomore and junior hold impressive 5-0 records.

BASICS ON THE BLUE JAYS
After opening 2015 with two straight wins, the University of St. Joseph's have mirrored those victories with back-to-back defeats to bring a 2-2 overall record into its first home match of the season. The Blue Jays took down Bay Path (9-0) and MCLA (8-1) before falling at Post (9-0) and Western Connecticut State (5-4).

Similar to the squad's record, the Blue Jays' ace Rebecca Mauri also sports a 2-2 record in singles action, while Lucy Roberge holds a 2-2 ledger at No. 2. The twosome team up in doubles play for the University of St. Joseph's top tandem and own a 2-2 mark.
