BOSTON – Suffolk women's soccer continues on the road to the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) crown Wednesday, Nov. 1 as the seventh-seeded Rams head to No. 3 Endicott for a 4 p.m. semifinals showdown.

SUFFOLK IN THE POSTSEASON

  • Suffolk returned to the CCC postseason after a year hiatus. 
  • The Rams second CCC postseason trip is the program's 10th postseason appearance. 
  • The Rams have compiled a 4-6-0 record in the quarterfinals in its eight appearances (3-5-0) in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) and CCC (1-1-0) tournaments, respectively. 
  • Suffolk is in the midst of its first-ever postseason debut in the Ellie McDougall era. 
  • Suffolk has moved onto the semifinals four times in program history, including this year, with its first trip since 2016. 
  • Suffolk will compete in the league's semifinals for the fourth time in program history, first since 2016. 
  • Suffolk is 2-1-0 in the conference semifinals all-time. 
  • The Rams last semifinal win came via a 1-0 shutout over Simmons in the 2013 GNAC semis. 
  • Suffolk has advanced to the conference championship contest twice, last in 2013, and first-ever in 2011.
  • The blue-and-gold has never hoisted a conference championship trophy. 
  • As the seventh seed, Suffolk is 1-2-0 in postseason action. 
  • There have been six shutouts in Suffolk's postseason history.

RAMS IN THE CCC CROWN CHASE

  • Suffolk is in the midst of its second CCC postseason run, first since 2021 and first as the seventh seed. 
  • The Rams secured their first CCC postseason win, a 2-1 decision at Roger Williams, Oct. 28, 2023 in the quarterfinals.
  • The Rams moved on from the quarterfinals in the CCC era for the first time. 
  • Suffolk is competing in the CCC postseason under McDougall's guidance for the first time.  
  • Suffolk has only competed in the CCC tournament on the road.
  • The Rams are 1-1-0 all-time in the CCC tourney.

LAST TIME OUT
Lily Goldmann potted a goal with less than 10 minutes remaining to break a 1-1 tie and help the seventh-seeded Suffolk women's soccer team stun second seed Roger Williams, 2-1, in the Commonwealth Coast Conference Quarterfinals Saturday at Bayside Field.

SUFFOLK SCORES

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk (8-7-3) makes its first league postseason semifinal appearance in eight years and fourth overall after its 2-1 quarterfinals upset win at Roger Williams.   

Klaudia Rushi is the lone Ram with double-digit points with 11 behind a team-best five goals and one assist. Three of the senior captain's five goals have been game winners. Lily Goldman sits second on the team with nine points on four goals and one assist. Makena Columbus (3g, 2a) and Avery Porter (4g) share third on the team with eight points apiece.

Arden Ferrari-Henry started Suffolk's CCC Quarterfinals contest at RWU. In 13 games played this season, 12 starts, she has assembled a 1.28 GAA and .780 save percentage with a 7-3-2 record and three cleansheets. Sophia Barkerhas seen time in net in 10 games this year with five starts. The sophomore boasts a 1.53 GAA and .789 save percentage.  

GET TO KNOW THE GULLS
Endicott bested Curry, 3-0, in the CCC Quarterfinals Saturday to stretch its unbeaten streak to four. In that span, the Gulls have outscored their foes, 7-1 with three shutouts.  

Endicott's 11-4-4 overall mark is thanks in large part to keep Roalina Caliri, who has started all 19 games for the Gulls. She brings in a 0.62 GAA and a .828 save percentage with 10 shutouts. 

The trio of Riley Rischitelli (6g, 1a), Grace Jewett (4g, 4a) and Ella Morgan (5g) lead the Gulls 40-goal offense.

WE MEET AGAIN
Suffolk women's soccer saw its winning ways come to a halt Saturday as the Rams fell to Endicott, 3-0, in a Commonwealth Coast Conference contest at Hempstead Stadium.

INSIDE THE SERIES

  • Suffolk is 0-3-1 all-time against Endicott. 
  • The Rams have yet to score against the Gulls in the all-time series. All four battles have been shutouts.
