EAST BOSTON – Makena Columbus put Suffolk women's soccer on the scoreboard in the second half to even things with Curry at 1-1, which held through the remainder of regulation to end in a Commonwealth Coast Conference tie Saturday at James A. Sartori Stadium at East Boston Memorial Park

HOW IT HAPPENED
Curry grabbed an early lead as Madison Frye scored unassisted 8:09 into the action.  

The Rams remained in that one-goal hole until the 65th minute when Columbus leveled the playing field with help from Isa Pereza

The score stood still from there as each keeper stood up to their test the rest of the way.  

KEEPING UP WITH THE KEEPERS

  • Sophia Barker had four saves in the stalemate.
  • Hannah Correa notched three stops in the draw.

  • Columbus registered Suffolk's lone goal.
