BOSTON – Suffolk women's soccer looks to return to the win column Saturday, Oct. 7 when it entertains Commonwealth Coast Conference counterpart Nichols at James A. Sartori Stadium in a Breast Cancer Awareness game at 12 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
In its non-conference finale, Suffolk women's soccer battled UMass Boston to a scoreless draw Tuesday night at James A. Sartori Stadium at East Boston Memorial ParkSophia Barker had six saves in the second half off the bench for the Rams to preserve the tie.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk sits 6-3-2 on the year and 1-1 in CCC outings after tying Beantown rival UMass Boston Tuesday night.  

The Rams offense has been quiet as of late with just one goal over the last two outings. Overall this season, 10 student-athletes have combined for 16 goals led by Avery Porter's three. Makena ColumbusChelsea FallonLily Goldmann, and Klaudia Rushi have all chipped in two.  

Arden Ferrari-Henry has been the go-to goalie for Suffolk. The freshman sports a 1.38 GAA and .769 save percentage in her 11 appearances, all starts. Sophia Barker, meanwhile, has assembled a 1.29 GAA and .769 save percentage in her four appearances. 

BISON BREAKDOWN
Nichols (2-8-1, 0-3-0 CCC) is winless over its last sis, including three straight losses.  

Natalie Gray has anchored the Bison's 11-goal offense, scoring four herself. Alana Snow has pitched in five points to the attack with two goals and one assist. Emily Feisthamel rounds out the top trio in scoring with a pair of goals to her credit. 

In net, Adie Hughes has started seven contests. She holds a 2.51 GAA and .762 save percentage with a 0-3-1 ledger. Saige Fraizer brings in a 3.29 GAA and .709 save percentage over her four starts, eight appearances, for a 2-5-0 mark. 

INSIDE THE SERIES

  • The Suffolk, Nichols series started in 2021. 
  • The Rams took the first meeting, 3-0, before falling to the Bison, 3-2, a year ago, Sept. 15, 2022.
