BOSTON – Suffolk caps off its non-conference schedule Tuesday, Oct. 3 when it battles UMass Boston at James A. Sartori Stadium at East Boston Memorial Park at 7 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
Hartford's offense proved to be too much for Suffolk women's soccer as it slipped to the Hawks, 7-1, Saturday at Al-Marzook Field at Alumni Stadium.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk compiled a 6-3-1 overall record through September. Apart of that mark is an unblemished 5-0-0 record when playing in Eastie.  

The Rams' 16-goal offense has seen 14 different players produce at least one point through 10 games. Avery Porter's three goals lead the way with the trio of Makena ColumbusLily Goldmann and Klaudia Rushi all sporting identical two-goal, one-assist stat lines.  

Arden Ferrari-Henry has started all 10 games in net for the blue-and-gold. She holds a 1.41 GAA and .765 save percentage. Half of her six victories have come via shutout.  

BEACONS BREAKDOWN
UMass Boston returned to the win column Saturday with a 2-1 win at Rhode Island to carry a 4-3-3 ledger across town Tuesday.  

Kaylee Haynes and Andrea Rivera power the Beacons scoring with four goals each. Haynes tops the team in points with 10 thanks to a pair of helpers to go along with her goals. Christina LaFuci has dished out a team-best four assists.  

In net Isabella O'Connell has started seven games for Beacons. She holds a 1.83 GAA and .676 save percentage with a 1-3-1 ledger. Julia Cote, meanwhile, sports a 3-0-1 record in her five appearances, three starts, with a 2.25 GAA and .526 save percentage.  

INSIDE THE SERIES

  • Suffolk and UMass Boston renew a rivalry, meeting for the first time since Sept. 25, 2013.
  • The Beacons won the first and only meeting between the teams, 4-1. 
  • Suffolk will host UMB for the first time in program history.
