HOW IT HAPPENED
The two teams played to a 0-0 draw in the first half with stout defensive play from both teams. Freshman goalkeeper Sophia Barker continued her solid work in net for the Rams with four saves in the first frame.

The Rams and Nor'Easters continued their defensive battle late into the second half with Long finally getting a scoring opportunity in the 79th minute, but it was deflected away.

In the ensuing corner kick, freshman Molly Knight placed a perfect ball into the box for sophomore Chelsea Fallon to get her right foot on it and go bar down to give the Rams a 1-0 lead.

The Nor'Easters got on the board 10 minutes later after a long lead pass from Rachel Sledjeski landed perfectly at the feet of Karly Belisle, who was able to direct a right-footed shot past the diving Barker to tie the game at 1-1.

The score stayed there until the final minute of action, with no winner decided.
