Women’s Soccer Soars Past Fisher, 3-0

EAST BOSTON – Suffolk women's soccer put together the biggest offensive output in the Ellie McDougall era as the Rams ran past Fisher, 3-0, Tuesday night at James A. Sartori Stadium at East Boston Memorial Park.

THE BASICS
SCORE: Suffolk 3 | Fisher 0
RECORDS: Suffolk (1-4-2) | Fisher (4-4-1)

HOW IT HAPPENED
Daniela Petronio erased the cleansheet 25 minutes into the action as the freshman fired a high kick from the 24-yard line and lofted it over Olivia Leo's gloves to put Suffolk on the board.

Petronio's marker at the midway point of the first frame sent the host into the locker room with the one-goal edge in its favor.

Less than five minutes out of the intermission, Petronio played a part in the Rams second strike of the day. The rookie headed a ball out to Delaney Hall, who nearly matched Petronio's effort from the opening half, when she sent a swift kick over Leo's head from over 20 yards out and into the netting to double the distance.

Hall hit another long ball just under 10 minutes later. Chelsea Fallon threw the ball into Emily Egan, who slipped a pass to Hall, who once again let one rip from over 25 yards out and found the back of the twine to push the margin to 3-0 Suffolk in the 58th minute.
