HOW IT HAPPENED
Suffolk found itself chasing one goal early on as Haile Carrillo-Hayes found the back of the net for the Lynx 12:35 into the action.

The Rams went into the locker room down that lone at the intermission. Klaudia Rushi made up that ground and leveled the playing field in the 78th minute. The junior captain sent the rock into the back of the twine without help to make it a 1-all outing.

The leveled playing field did not last long as Zoe Curtaz put away Sach Porter's set-up just under six minutes later to give Lesley the advantage once again, 2-1.

Suffolk was unable to get a shot off the rest of the way to keep the score still at the end of regulation.
