BOSTON – Suffolk women's soccer takes a break from CCC action Wednesday, Sept. 21 when it makes the short trip to Lesley. First kick at Minuteman Tech is set for 7 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
Suffolk women's soccer's CCC debut came down to the wire at Nichols as the teams were even at 2-all with just over two minutes remaining. The Bison managed to break the even playing field with 1:46 left in regulation to down the Rams, 3-2, Thursday afternoon at Nichols Soccer Field.

SUFFOLK SCORES

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk found the back of the net twice Thursday, the most goals in a game in the Ellie McDougall era, but it would not be enough to take down Nichols. The 3-2 loss to the Bison put the Rams at 1-3-1 on the year.  

The blue-and-gold's three goals are spread out over three players in Hayley LongKylie Perron and Klaudia RushiKylie Flynn and Daniela Petronio have each dished out one assist. 

Sophia Barker has played the bulk of time in net. In four starts, the freshman holds a 2.00 GAA and .758 save percentage. Maddie Brooke has one game under her belt and owns a 1.00 GAA and .875 save percentage. 

LOOK AT THE LYNX
Lesley has fallen in three straight games to sit 1-4-0 on the year.  

The Lynx four-goal offense was all scored by different players in Abby Kalou, Sacha Porter, Haile Carrillo-Hayes and Lauren Rudolph. In addition to goals, Kalou and Porter each dished out an assist to share top on the team in points with three apiece.   

Audrey Calhoun and Lauren Lacy have each seen time in net this season. Lacy has built a 2.00 GAA and .500 save percentage in her four appearances, two starts. Calhoun, meanwhile, holds a 2.80 GAA and .533 save percentage over five outings, three starts. 

INSIDE THE SERIES

  • Suffolk defeated Lesley for the first time in program history a year ago, 2-0. 
  • The Rams are 1-7-0 all-time against the Lynx in a series that dates back to 2012.
  • Seven of the eight matches have been determined in shutout fashion, including Suffolk's only win. 
  • Suffolk has netted five goals all-time against Lesley. 
  • Four of the Rams five tallies versus the Lynx came on the blue-and-gold's own turn.
