Women’s Soccer Grabs 14th Straight United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award

2021-22 United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Suffolk women's soccer continued its streak of academic excellence as the Rams received their 14th United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award, the national organization announced.

Suffolk saw its name among the near 800 collegiate programs after reaching the required team GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale a year ago. The Rams have reached that feat each year dating back to 2008.

Among the three NCAA collegiate divisions 783 teams -- 295 men and 488 women – took home the award with 145 institutions seeing both its squads, men and women, recognized for their work inside the classroom. Suffolk is one of the 145 as both the women and Bill Maddock's men earned the feat, the only Commonwealth Coast Conference institution to do so. Nichols, University of New England, Endicott, Wentworth and Roger Williams joined the blue-and-gold women on the list for 2021-22.
