BOSTON – Suffolk women's soccer looks for a strong resurgence into Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) play on Saturday, Oct. 9 when Nichols visits James A. Sartori Stadium at East Boston Memorial Park at 1 p.m.

SUFFOLK ATHLETICS 2021-22 FAN POLICY
Suffolk University Athletics, following guidance from the University's health and safety protocols, Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC), Centers for Disease Control and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, plans to allow fans to attend home athletic contests during the 2021-22 academic and athletic year.

Fans, whether vaccinated or unvaccinated, can attend games. They must be masked the entire time they are on campus, pursuant to institutional policy, and complete a health screening form at the security desk of each building upon arrival. This policy applies to home contests played on campus at the Ridgeway Building's Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court, as well as the Emmons Horrigan O'Neil Memorial Rink and the Louis E. Porrazzo Memorial Skating Rink.

For outdoor outings, specifically at East Boston Memorial Park, fans are asked to respect COVID safety protocols. At this time, masks will not be mandated for fans no matter vaccinated status at outdoor venues.

#RAMSFANFEST
After a year hiatus, Suffolk Athletics is excited to welcome back all members of Ram Nation to East Boston Memorial Park Saturday, Oct. 23 for Rams Fan Fest. 

The sixth event is part of Suffolk Weekend, which combines two annual celebrations – Alumni Weekend and Family Weekend. These events bring the entire University community together and allows members of the Suffolk community and their families to reconnect or get acclimated with Suffolk. LAST TIME OUT
Behind strikes from four different goal scorers, Suffolk women's soccer handled Husson at James A. Sartori Stadium at East Boston Memorial Park on Wednesday, Oct. 6 in the final non-conference matchup of the 2021 campaign by a score of 4-1.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk bounced back following a shutout loss in CCC play at Western New England last Saturday, Oct. 2 with a 4-1 win over Husson Wednesday, Oct. 6 to move to 7-3-0 on the year.  

Allison Rodrigues continues to shine for the Rams, as the senior keeper's presence in net has produced some of the nation's best statistics. She has played every minute between the pipes with six shutouts to her credit, which ranks second in the NCAA Division III, behind a .904 save percentage, which is good for 20th nationally. Her 0.556 GAA, meanwhile, sits 44th in DIII. 

Suffolk is averaging 2.5 goals per game with Aislinn Servaes leading the offensive attack with 10 points on four goals and two helpers. Lily Christian (3g, 3a) is second on the squad with nine points, while Kylie Flynn (2g, 4a) and Nicole Morin-Trotta (3g, 2a) shared third on the team in points with eight apiece. 

NOTICING NICHOLS
The Bison come to Eastie on a two-game skid that dropped Nichols to 4-6-1 on the year and 0-3-0 in CCC contests.  

Nichols' offense has managed to put home 1.82 goals per game, with Maegan Roy out in front with 18 points coming off seven goals and four assists. Grace Killman is the only other Bison to record double-digit points (10) behind four goals and two helpers.  

Nichols has used play from two goalkeepers in 2021. Freshman Adie Hughes has managed much of the workload, logging action in nine contests, posting a 2.11 GAA and .654 save percentage. Sophomore Madeleine Soudant recorded a 1.87 GAA and a .792 save percentage through four total appearances, two starts.
