RECORDS: Suffolk (2-1-0) | Wellesley (3-0-0)

HOW IT HAPPENED
Wellesley would be the first time to sneak a ball past Suffolk's Allison Rodrigues this season and it took almost 38 minutes to do so. The Blue took the ball down the right-hand side of the field, Willa McGough lifted a leading pass to Marleigh Ausbrooks. Ausbrooks fired and opposite side shot from the opposite circle that sailed into the netting to break open the scoreless action.

Less than four minutes into the second stanza Wellesley padded its advantage to a pair. This time xxx scored for the Blue thanks Carolyn Prestowitz. Rodrigues booted a kick to clear the zone, a Ram received the pass, but a Wellesley player was there to pick up the pieces as well. Eliza Roy got advantage of the rock, dished ahead to Prestowitz and set-up the one-on-one with Rodrigues. From about 15 yards out, Prestowitz dribbled and shot left, just outside the reach of Rodrigues' gloves to make it a 2-0 game.
