Brian Wilcox was named the first-ever assistant coach of the Suffolk women's lacrosse program. He joined Carolynn Keal's coaching staff in 2024 to help prep for the inaugural season. 

Wilcox's coaching resume features a wide variety of lacrosse knowledge from the youth to the collegiate level with his last stop at UMass Boston as the Beacons' Women's Lacrosse Club Advisor. 

On top of his responsibilities at UMB, he has worked as the head coach of the East Catholic High School Girls Team since 2015. Over seven seasons he compiled a 75-37-1 record including a trip to the 2018 Conneticut Class S State Championship Contest. 

Wilcox is a dual degree holder with a Masters of Business Adminstration from Suffolk's Commonwealth Coast Conference counterparts Hartford and a Bacehlor of Science and Business Administration from Nichols, also a member of the CCC. At Nichols he was a two-year letterwinner of the Bison's men's lacrosse team and played for the football team for four seasons.
