BOSTON – Suffolk women's hockey returns to Commonwealth Coast Conference action this weekend with a home-and-home series with Curry. The Rams venture to Canton, Massachusetts, Friday, Jan. 19 for a 7 p.m. meeting, before the Colonels stop by Louis E. Porrazzo Memorial Skating Rink Saturday, Jan. 20 for a 4:50 p.m. puck drop.

Suffolk women's hockey was overpowered by No. 8 Colby, 8-0, in the Rams' non-conference finale Tuesday night at Louis E. Porrazzo Memorial Skating Rink.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk looks to snap a five-game skid that put the Rams at 3-12-1 on the season. In CCC action, the Rams sit 2-6-1.  

The blue-and-gold's scoring is well-balanced with every skater, except the goalies, with at least one point on their stat lines. Jenna Caballero tops the team in points (9) and assists 7), while Liliana Moose (2g, 6a) sits second on the squad. Alessia Di Silvestro (3g, 2a), Sydney Fascetta (2g, 3a), Katie Newkirk (3g, 2a), Kellie Popkin (2g, 3a) and Elise Wainwright (1g, 4a) all have five points to their credit.  

Lily O'Neil (2.90 GAA, .905 save%) and Izzy Buckett (3.56 GAA, .886 save%) have split time in net this year. 

COLONELS CATCHUP
Curry (7-6-2, 3-4-2 CCC) rides a five-game win streak into the weekend. That stretch features three shutouts including back-to-back 5-0 cleansheets over Nichols last weekend.  

The foursome of Danielle Reid (7g, 8a), Grayson Goolgasian (8g, 6a), Hannah Berkowitz (6g, 7a) and Ava Doyle (1g, 9a) have power the Colonels' 38-goal offense. 

Soleil Archambeault has taken on the bulk of the workload in net for Curry. In 11 games played, all starts, she boasts a 1.58 GAA and .946 save percentage.
