Women’s Hockey Clinches CCC Regular Season Crown, Clips Curry, 5-1

CANTON, Mass. – Women's hockey made Suffolk University history Friday night as it captured the Commonwealth Coast Conference regular-season title behind a 5-1 win over Curry at Canton Ice House.

The title is not only the first regular-season championship for the Rams' women's hockey squad but marks the first time a Suffolk program has captured a CCC regular-season crown since joining the ranks in 2020-21.

Caballero was aided by Madison Ricardo and Jesse Kennedy at the 16:36 mark. Less than a minute elater, Scilipoti pushed the margin to a pair thanks to help from Natasha Savage and Cote.

Up 3-1 at the end of the second set of 20 minutes, Suffolk's scoring carried over into the third. Duff put away a power play goal 8:01 into the final frame of regulation with assists from Livia Brehm and Elise Wainwright.
