NEW LONDON, Conn. – Suffolk women's hockey cut the two-goal deficit in half in the early action of the third, but was unable to complete the comeback against Connecticut College Tuesday night at Dayton Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Camels scored one goal in the first and second periods, respectively, to force the Rams to play catchup.  

Shana Cote got the rally going as the captain figured Eun-Bee Huh out to slice the gap down to one with 14:27 left in regulation. 

The Rams were limited to just three shots on target the rest of way including the final 2:30 when Taylor Wasylk pulled Lily O'Neil from her place in between the blue-and-gold pipes.  

NETMINDER NOTES

  • O'Neil recorded 26 saves. 
  • Huh had 16 stops.  

STATISTICALLY SPEAKING

  • Cote contributed Suffolk's lone goal. 
  • Madison Duff dished out the Rams only assist.

Suffolk is away from action until Dec. 2-3 when it takes on the University of New England in a Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) home-and-home series. The Rams will entertain the Nor'Easters Friday at 6 p.m. at Louis E. Porrazzo Memorial Skating Rink with a rematch in Biddeford, Maine on Saturday's docket.
