Women’s Hockey Upends Curry, 9-1

EAST BOSTON – Suffolk women's hockey put on a shooting clinic as 10 different Rams recorded a point with eight different skaters scoring a goal in a 9-1 Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) victory over Curry Thursday afternoon at Louis E. Porrazzo Memorial Skating Rink.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Suffolk put away four goals in the first period and matched that offensive output in the second to make it an 8-0 game after 40 minutes. The teams traded a goal apiece in the third for the final 9-1 margin.

  • Julia McLellan registered 13 saves in the victory. 
  • Anna Langton logged 28 stops in two periods of work in the Colonels' cage. 
  • Vivi Helquist defended Curry's net for the final period and picked up seven stops.
