BOSTON – Two days removed from its first-ever meeting with Salve Regina, Suffolk women's hockey and the Seahawks are in store for a rematch as the Rams welcome their Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) counterpart to Louis E. Porrazzo Memorial Skating Rink for a 6 p.m. clash.

SUFFOLK ATHLETICS 2021-22 FAN POLICY
Suffolk University Athletics, following guidance from the University's health and safety protocols, Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC), Centers for Disease Control and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, plans to allow fans to attend home athletic contests during the 2021-22 academic and athletic year.

Fans, whether vaccinated or unvaccinated, can attend games. They must be masked the entire time they are on campus, pursuant to institutional policy, and complete a health screening form at the security desk of each building upon arrival. This policy applies to home contests played on campus at the Ridgeway Building's Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court, as well as the Emmons Horrigan O'Neil Memorial Rink and the Louis E. Porrazzo Memorial Skating Rink.

For outdoor outings, specifically at East Boston Memorial Park, fans are asked to respect COVID safety protocols. At this time, masks will not be mandated for fans no matter vaccinated status at outdoor venues.

LAST TIME OUT
Suffolk women's hockey opened the all-time series with Salve Regina in winning fashion as the Rams downed the Seahawks, 3-1, in a Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) battle Sunday afternoon at Howard Rink at the St. George's Rink. The victory marks Suffolk's 15th of the year, which ties the Rams' record of wins in a single season with the 2018-19 inaugural women's hockey team.

SUFFOLK SCORES

RAMS RUNDOWN
After defeating Salve Regina, 3-1, Sunday afternoon, Suffolk tied the program's single-season win record with a 15-3-0 ledger. CCC wise, the Rams boast a 10-2-0 conference mark. 

The blue-and-gold's scoring unit it the top in the conference powered by the biggest offensive threat in the league in Shana Cote. The senior forward leagues the conference in every offensive category including goals (16), assists (15) and points (31). Sofia Scilipoti (9g, 13a) and Maddy Burton (12g, 9a) have been consistent contributors as well. 

Suffolk's trio of netminders have all played critical roles to the Rams' record. Lily O'Neil has taken on most of the work with appearances in nine games with eight starts. O'Neil holds a .908 save percentage and 2.29 GAA with a 6-3-0 record. Julia McLellan (.905 save %, 2.06 GAA) and Hannah Gordon (.935 save %, 1.38 GAA) are both unbeaten between the pipes. McLellan sports a 4-0-0 record, while Gordon holds a 5-0-0 mark. 

SEAHAWKS SAYINGS
Salve Regina slipped in both of its games last weekend to dip to 4-11-2 on the year and 3-7-2 in the CCC.

The Seahawks have scored just 23 goals this season. Emma Breen tops the team in points with a six-point stat line evenly divided between markers (3) and set-ups (3). Tori Amaral and Maddie Cox have five points apiece. The former's are all off handouts, while the latter's is three goals and two assists.

Madison Jalbert is SRU's usual goalie. She holds a .900 save percentage and 2.84 GAA in 13 games, all starts. Ellee Kopecky has seen time in five games and has built a .895 save percentage and 2.27 GAA.
