BOSTON – Suffolk is one of NINE teams left in NCAA Division III women's hockey left unbeaten and looks to keep it that way as it heads into a home-and-home series with the University of New England. The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) counterparts will tangle at Louis E. Porrazzo Memorial Skating Rink Friday, Nov. 19 at 6 p.m., before the Rams trek to Biddeford, Maine for a Saturday, Nov. 20 4 p.m. showdown.

SUFFOLK ATHLETICS 2021-22 FAN POLICY
Suffolk University Athletics, following guidance from the University's health and safety protocols, Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC), Centers for Disease Control and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, plans to allow fans to attend home athletic contests during the 2021-22 academic and athletic year.

Fans, whether vaccinated or unvaccinated, can attend games. They must be masked the entire time they are on campus, pursuant to institutional policy, and complete a health screening form at the security desk of each building upon arrival. This policy applies to home contests played on campus at the Ridgeway Building's Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court, as well as the Emmons Horrigan O'Neil Memorial Rink and the Louis E. Porrazzo Memorial Skating Rink.

For outdoor outings, specifically at East Boston Memorial Park, fans are asked to respect COVID safety protocols. At this time, masks will not be mandated for fans no matter vaccinated status at outdoor venues.

LAST TIME OUT
A bakers' dozen Rams produced at least one point as Suffolk women's hockey reset its goals scored record in a 10-3 pouncing of Curry in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action Saturday at Louis E. Porrazzo Memorial Skating Rink.

SUFFOLK SCORES

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk is undefeated through six games this season, which includes a pair of CCC contests. 

The Rams' 5.83 goals per game offense it the fifth-best in NCAA DIII this year. A dozen of the blue-and-gold's 35 markers have come on the power play, the most power play goals in DIII thus far. Suffolk sits in the top five nationally in short-handed goals (5), face-off winning percentage (0.624) and points (87). 

Suffolk skaters are scattered among the nation's best. Shana Cote is leading the country in power play goals with five strikes on man-up chances. The senior forward also paces the nation in the face-off dot with 97 victories. Squad wise, the captain is one of three players in double figures in points with team-leading numbers in every offensive category with eight goals and nine set-ups for 17 points. Sofia Scilipoti (6g, 6a) and Maddy Burton (7g, 3a) have produce double-digit points as well.  

In net Suffolk has cycled through two goaltenders in Hannah Gordon and Julia McLellan. The former holds a 1.67 GAA and .907 save percentage, while the latter brings in a 3.00 GAA and .881 save percentage.

NOR'EASTER NOTES
The University of New England split a weekend series with Endicott to move to 2-3-0 on the year and 2-2-0 in CCC play. 

Carolyn Curley and McKenna Remillard are leading the Nor'Easters scoring with identical two-goal, two-assist stat lines. Bella Crugnale has pitched in three points of the offense in the form of a pair of strikes and one set-up.

Delanie Corcoran has seen the most time in between the pipes. She boasts a 2-2-0 record with a 3.00 GAA and .902 save percentage. Kaleigh Laurendeau has seen time in net for the Nor'Easters as well. She built a 2.27 GAA and .923 save percentage in two appearances, one start.

INSIDE THE SERIES

• Suffolk is unbeaten all-time against UNE, 2-0-0.
• The Rams swept the Nor'Easters in a two-game series in Biddeford, Maine in Suffolk's inaugural season in 2018-19.
• The first-ever tangle between the teams was a 2-0 shutout. That is the only cleansheet in the all-time series.
• Suffolk has potted a pair of pucks in both battles with UNE.
• The Rams and Nor'Easters will face-off against one another in Eastie for the first time.

EYES ON THE GAME

HATS OFF

• Maddy Burton became the first Ram in program history to produce multiple hat tricks in their career as the graduate student produced one in the decisive 10-3 win over Curry Nov. 13.
• The three-goal performance was the first for a Suffolk skater since Burton potted three pucks in an 8-0 win over Johnson & Wales Jan. 24, 2020.
• Meagan MacNeil was the first Ram in program history to register a hat trick, doing so in a 7-3 triumph over Salem State Dec. 7, 2019.
• All three of Suffolk's hat tricks have come on its home ice in Eastie.

OFFENSIVE OUTPUT
Suffolk lit the lamp 10 times Saturday, Nov. 13 against Curry, which is the most goals in a single outing in the Rams' record books. The 10-goal offense upstaged the previous nine-goal mark that the Rams reached in a 9-0 shutout of Anna Maria Nov. 14, 2018. The blue-and-gold had 17 assists in the victory over the Colonels, which also sit Suffolk's single-game assist list. 

RAMS RECOGNITION
For the third consecutive week, the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Player of the Week has hailed from Suffolk women's hockey as Shana Cote earned the recognition again on the heels of a seven-point performance in a 2-0-0 week.

Suffolk takes a break for the Thanksgiving holiday and will be back Dec. 4-5 with a home-and-home series against Salve Regina.
