Women’s Golf Wins NWGC Fall Invitational, Yarbrough Medalist

WESTFIELD, Mass. – Suffolk women's golf capped off its weekend in impressive fashion as the Rams claimed the first four spots including individual medalist honors for Ellie Yarbrough to capture first place at the NWGC Fall Invitational Sunday at the Tekoa Country Club.

Yarbrough was just plus-six over the 71-par on the 5,597-yard course to top the 50-golfer field.

Sophomore Ella Torsleff (81), freshman Brooke Bugajewski (82) and senior Isabel Smith (83) finished one stroke behind one-another to take spots two through four.

Senior Sophie Kiley shared 18th with a 93 to round out the Rams on the course.

Suffolk looks to ride momentum from its back-to-back tournament wins into its head-to-head with Husson next Saturday, Oct. 7 at the Brunswick Golf Club in Brunswick, Maine.
