ABOUT THE NEIGA
The New England Intercollegiate Golf Association (NEIGA) is a non-profit organization, which was first organized in 1934 at the Oakley Country Club in Watertown, Massachusetts. NEIGA is believed to be the largest gathering of collective players from all levels of NCAA competing at the same location on a 36-hole layout. There are currently 46 New England colleges and universities as members of the NEIGA.

THE COURSE
Two championship golf courses at one location line in the Captains Golf Course. Together, the par-72 Port Course and the par-72 Starboard Course deliver 36 holes.

THE FIELD
Suffolk will be joined in Brewster, Massachusetts by Husson and Worcester, both teams the Rams have faced this season.

The blue-and-gold defeated the Eagles, 728-766, in the two-day Husson Invitational Sept. 18-19, and just downed the Owls, 355-455, Sunday, Oct. 3.

RAPID REWIND
After winning back-to-back NEIGA titles in 2017 and 2018, respectively, Suffolk slipped to fourth in the fourth edition of the event in 2019.

Individually, Rams have shined on the Cape Cod course. Aine Dillon became the first-ever Suffolk golfer – either male or female – to capture a regional tournament back in 2018. That season the NEIGA All-Region team consisted of all five Suffolk golfers. Overall, Suffolk has garnered 13-region honorees over in three years competing at the tournament.

WHAT'S NEXT?
The championship completed Suffolk's fall slate. The Rams will be back in action this spring.
