BEVERLY, Mass. – Suffolk women's basketball saw a pair of its players recognized by the Commonwealth Coast Conference after a 2-0 week. Amanda DeAngelis earned a CCC Co-Player of the Week and Jordan Moreau was tabbed CCC Rookie of the week.

DeAngelis averaged 25 points and 15.5 rebounds per game, while Moreau put together 13.5 points and 3.5 boards per game over week that featured victories over Hartford (72-62) and Nichols (88-79).

In the first-ever win over the Hawks, DeAngelis poured in a game-high 27 points to go along with 12 caroms, six takeaways, a career-high four blocks and two helpers. Moreau, meanwhile, added 16 points on a 6-for-8 showing from the floor that included a 2-for-3 effort from downtown with four boards, three helpers and one swat to her credit.

At Nichols on Saturday, DeAngelis registered her fifth straight double-double with 23 points and 19 rebounds. The senior added four assists and four takeaways. Moreau supplied 11 points on a 4-for-6 effort from the floor, which included a 2-for-4 showing from behind-the-arc, six set-ups and three boards.

The twosome is no stranger to weekly awards from the CCC this season. DeAngelis scooped up CCC Player of the Week for the second time this season, first since Jan. 29. Moreau, who previously set the single season mark for rookie weekly awards with her fourth Jan. 22, took home her fifth CCC Rookie of the Week distinction of the year. In addition to the duo, Lauren Romito has been tabbed the league's best player over a seven-day stretch twice to bring Suffolk's total to nine.

The Rams take their seven-game win streak to Biddeford, Maine, Wednesday, Feb. 14 to take on the University of New England in a 5:30 p.m. CCC clash.
