BOSTON – Suffolk women's basketball will make its first road trip of the season Saturday, Nov. 18 when it heads to Eastern Nazarene for a 3 p.m. match up.

Suffolk women's basketball lifted the lid on its 2023-24 campaign in the win column as the Rams took down Beantown foe Emerson, 67-51, Wednesday night at Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk sits 1-0 on the year after defeating Emerson, 67-51, in its season opener Wednesday, Nov. 15.  

Amanda DeAngelis provided a 19-point, 12-rebund to the first game of the year in which nine different players produced at least three points. Lauren Romito compiled a double-double of her own of 10 points and 10 caroms. Colby Guinta chipped in nine points, while Jordan Moreau and Maddie Stewart both supplied seven points apiece.  

LIONS LOOK
Eastern Nazarene is unbeaten on the year, 4-0, with victories over Worcester State (64-55), Norwich (70-54), Brandeis (70-59) and Anna Maria (90-67). 

The trio of Alexandria Paquet (11.8 ppg), Genesis McNeill (11.5 ppg) and Delaney Walker (10.8 ppg) pace the Lions' 73.5 ppg offensive output. Paquet and McNeill help set-up the scoring with 3.3 apg each. 

Defensively, Sabanna Berrios' 7.3 rpg leads the way with Theresa McCarver contributing 6.8 rpg to the effort on the boards.
