BOSTON – Suffolk women's basketball has a tough Tuesday, Jan. 24 ahead as the Rams head to Bristol, Rhode Island, to battle with Roger Williams, who is receiving votes in the latest WBCA Division III Coaches Poll. Tip off of the Commonwealth Coast Conference clash is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
Suffolk women's basketball fell to Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) foe Endicott, 57-49, Saturday afternoon at Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk aims to snap a three-game skid that put the Rams at 9-8 on the year and 4-6 in CCC action.  

Amanda DeAngelis continues to lead Suffolk on the offensive and defensive end as the junior averages a double-double of 16.9 points and 10.4 rebounds per game. Maddie Stewart contributes on both sides of the ball as well with 10.5 ppg and 8.5 rpg. Katie Kirsch pitches in 9.4 ppg and 6.6 rpg, while Colby Guinta adds 10.6 ppg to the Rmas' 63.9 ppg offense.

HAVE TO KNOW 'BOUT THE HAWKS
Roger Williams has had a stand-up season thus far as it holds a 14-3 overall mark and unblemished 10-0 CCC ledger.  

RWU's 66.1 ppg offense is well-balanced with just a pair of players average double figures in scoring in Katie Galligan (13.5 ppg) and Caroline Elie (13.2 ppg). Sophie Araneo is on the verge of double digits in points as well with 9.9 ppg to her credit. 

Defensively, Elie's 6.9 rpg tops the Hawks' 41.6 rpg effort. Kendi Barnard pitches in 6.8 rpg and Araneo addis 6.1 rpg to help Roger Williams outrebound their foes by a hefty 11.2 margin.   

WE MEET AGAIN
Despite coming back and taking the lead in the first, the Suffolk women's basketball team could not hold off the power Hawks of Roger Williams, who are receiving votes in the latest WBCA Coaches Top 25, as the Rams fell in the Commonwealth Coast Conference clash, 68-41, Tuesday, Dec. 6 at the Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court.
