BOSTON – Suffolk looks to keep its winning ways up Saturday, Jan. 7 when it faces Curry in a Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) affair at Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk has coupled back-to-back victories together, a 55-50 win at Wentworth followed by a 72-63 victory over Nichols, to improve to 7-4 on the year and 3-2 in CCC contests.  

Amanda DeAngelis is a force on both ends of the hardwood as the junior averages 17.6 ppg and 10.7 rpg. Maddie Stewart is a main contributor on offense and defense as well with 11.2 ppg and 8.2 rpg to her credit. Colby Guinta supplies 11.7 ppg to the Rams' 65.0 points per game offensive output, while Katie Kirsch chips in 8.1 rpg to the blue-and-gold's 45.7 rpg effort. 

COLONELS CATCHUP
Curry has fallen in five straight to sit 5-7 on the season and 1-4 in CCC outings.  

The Dunn's, Lauren and Kathryn, are the only two Colonels to average double figures in scoring with 12.7 ppg and 12.0 ppg, respectively. The twosome is top contributors on the glass as well with Kathryn Dunn's 6.3 rpg leading the way and Lauren Dunn's 5.1 rpg sitting second on the squad. 

INSIDE THE SERIES

  • Suffolk is 21-16 all-time against Curry. 
  • The Rams have won seven in a row against the Colonels. 
  • In Boston, Suffolk is 12-6 all-time versus Curry.
