BOSTON – Suffolk women's basketball will cap off its four-game homestand at Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court Saturday, Feb. 12 versus Curry. Prior to the 1 p.m. Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) contest, the Rams will honor their graduating players Gabriella DeComo, Jenni-Rose DiCecco, Natalie Fraioli, Marissa Gattuso, Natalie Fraioli, Allie Lopes, Sydney Richard and Emily Welling.

LAST TIME OUT
Suffolk women's basketball used a monster opening quarter and coasted the rest of the way to an 87-44 victory over Wentworth in a Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) clash at Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court Thursday night.

RAMS RUNDOWN
After handling Wentworth Thursday, Suffolk brings a 15-6 overall record a 9-5 CCC mark into Saturday's showdown. 

The Rams continued to be powered by Jenni-Rose DiCecco and Amanda DeAngelis. DiCecco is an all-around contributor with top team numbers in points (14.1) assists (5.1) and steals (3.5) with guard adds 5.0 rpg. DeAngelis is a two-way player with 11.2 ppg and 7.1 rpg. The sophomore plays the passing lane as well with 2.0 spg. 

COLONELS CATCH UP
Curry (3-18, 0-14 CCC) has had a tough road this season with just three victories scattered around 21 outings. 

A trio of players are the core to the Colonels on both ends of the hardwood. Kathryn Dunn leads the scoring and the rebounding with 11.9 ppg and 8.9 rpg. Kristyanna Remillard provides 11.5 ppg and 4.3 rpg, while Kaitlynn Smith records 10.0 ppg. 

WE MEET AGAIN
Leading by just two at the end of the third quarter, Suffolk women's basketball outscored the Colonels, 23-6, over the final frame to walk away with a convincing 80-58 Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) win over Curry Wednesday night at Katz Gymnasium.
