BOSTON – Suffolk women's basketball continues its homestand Tuesday, Feb. 8 when it welcomes the University of New England to Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court for a 5:30 p.m. Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) tangle.

SUFFOLK ATHLETICS 2021-22 FAN POLICY
Suffolk University Athletics, following guidance from the University's health and safety protocols, Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC), Centers for Disease Control and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, plans to allow fans to attend home athletic contests during the 2021-22 academic and athletic year.

Fans, whether vaccinated or unvaccinated, can attend games. They must be masked the entire time they are on campus, pursuant to institutional policy, and complete a health screening form at the security desk of each building upon arrival. This policy applies to home contests played on campus at the Ridgeway Building's Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court, as well as the Emmons Horrigan O'Neil Memorial Rink and the Louis E. Porrazzo Memorial Skating Rink.

For outdoor outings, specifically at East Boston Memorial Park, fans are asked to respect COVID safety protocols. At this time, masks will not be mandated for fans no matter vaccinated status at outdoor venues.

LAST TIME OUT
Five different players provided double figures including a career-high 24 from Gabriella DeComo to send Suffolk women's basketball to a 78-68 triumph over Salve Regina in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action at Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court Saturday afternoon.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk strung together a three-game week to head into its homestay 14-5 on the year and 8-4 in CCC contests.  

The Rams' upward momentum has been powered by fifth-year Jenni-Rose DiCecco and sophomore Amanda DeAngelis. DiCecco leads the offense with 14.5 ppg and 5.1 apg, while DeAngelis supplies 10.9 ppg and leads the way defensively with 7.4 rpg. DiCecco chips in 5.4 rpg. Gabriella DeComo is a factor in the blue-and-gold's 70.7 ppg with 10.0 ppg. Emily Welling aids DeAngelis on the glass with 6.6 rpg. 

NOR'EASTER NARRATIVES
Similar to Suffolk, UNE (12-8, 10-3 CCC) has won three games in a row. That stretch was capped off by a 74-66 victory over Western New England Saturday.  

Four different players provide double figures to the Nor'Easters 65.5 points per outing. Jordyn Franzen leads paces the pack with 16.9 ppg with Allie Goodman (12.4), Abby Cavallaro (12.2) and Kaylee Beyoer (10.5) round out the quartet.  

Franzen is also the top rebounding threat with 8.1 rpg. Goodman adds 6.2 rpg with Beyor contributing 5.7 rpg. 

WE MEET AGAIN
Suffolk women's basketball could not hang onto a half time lead as the University of New England charged out of the locker room and hung onto the lead over the final frame to hand the Rams a 54-52 setback in their Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) debut Wednesday night at Harold Alfond Forum.
