BOSTON – In the midst of a three-game road swing and on a three-game win streak, the Suffolk women's basketball team pays visit to Fitchburg State Tuesday, Nov. 23 for a 5 p.m. tip-off.

SUFFOLK ATHLETICS 2021-22 FAN POLICY
Suffolk University Athletics, following guidance from the University's health and safety protocols, Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC), Centers for Disease Control and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, plans to allow fans to attend home athletic contests during the 2021-22 academic and athletic year.

Fans, whether vaccinated or unvaccinated, can attend games. They must be masked the entire time they are on campus, pursuant to institutional policy, and complete a health screening form at the security desk of each building upon arrival. This policy applies to home contests played on campus at the Ridgeway Building's Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court, as well as the Emmons Horrigan O'Neil Memorial Rink and the Louis E. Porrazzo Memorial Skating Rink.

For outdoor outings, specifically at East Boston Memorial Park, fans are asked to respect COVID safety protocols. At this time, masks will not be mandated for fans no matter vaccinated status at outdoor venues.

LAST TIME OUT
Suffolk women's basketball jump started its three-game road trip with a 70-43 decision over Plymouth State at Foley Gymnasium Saturday afternoon.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk has rattled off three victories in a row to move to 4-1 on the year. 

The Rams' 73.2 ppg offense has trio of everyday players producing double figures paced by Jenni-Rose DiCecco's 11.0 ppg. Allie Lopes is second on the squad with 10.8 ppg with Natalie Fraioli's 10.6 ppg rounding out the threesome. Gabriella DeComo is on the verge of double digits as well with 9.8 ppg. 

Emily Welling, who chips in 8.0 ppg on the scoring side, leads the way on the defensive end with 10.0 rpg. Amanda DeAngelis and Fraioli notch 6.8 rpg each to the team's 53.6 rpg effort.

FALCONS FACTS
Fitchburg State has fallen in back-to-back battles to dip to 1-5 on the year. The last setback came to Suffolk's CCC counterpart Nichols Saturday by a 102-78 margin. 

Jadelen Harold is the driving force offensively and defensively with 10.8 ppg and 9.2 rpg. Rylie Harlow supplies 9.7 ppg, while Stephanie Hart is a contributor on both ends as well with 7.3 ppg and 8.0 rpg.

INSIDE THE SERIES

  • Suffolk and Fitchburg State will meet for the 13th time.
