Iliana Quadri Records 1,000th Career Point

Senior Iliana Quadri (Sudbury, Mass.) recorded her 1,000th career point on Tuesday evening becoming the 13th player in Suffolk University Women's Basketball program history to do so.

Quadri notched the milestone two minutes and twenty seconds into the second half when she connected on her third field goal of the contest. The senior guard needed just five points entering Tuesday evening's game to record the career marker.

Quadri would finish Tuesday's game scoring 12 points on 5-for-12 shooting from the field as Suffolk faced a 63-44 setback at UMass-Boston. Through Tuesday's game Quadri has now scored 1,007 career points for the Rams.

Through her four seasons at Suffolk, Quadri has averaged 9.7 points per game in 104 total contests. She has been one of the top three-point shooters in program history connecting on a 36.5-percent clip from beyond the arc which ranks her fifth all-time.

Quadri was a third team All-Conference selection by the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) during the 2013-14 season.  She averaged 11.7 points per game including a 12.4 average in 11 conference games. Quadri shot at a 33.9-percent clip from beyond the three-point line on the season, the league's fifth highest average. She was Suffolk's leading scorer in seven games on the season.

Suffolk will be back in action on Saturday afternoon when they travel to Albertus Magnus College for a 1:00pm tip-off with the Falcons in a GNAC matchup.
