BOSTON – Coming off its first Commonwealth Coast Conference win of the year, Suffolk softball brings its talents to Wenham, Massachusetts, for a league twinbill at Gordon. Game one action is scheduled to start at 2:30 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
Unlike the opener, Suffolk softball's sixth-inning rally paid off in the nightcap as the Rams took down Roger Williams in Commonwealth Coast Conference action, 7-5, Sunday night at Rotch Field.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk snapped its nine-game skid in the nightcap against Roger Williams Sunday to move to 2-11 on the year and .500 (1-1) in CCC contests.  

Ava Brandow has brought in a team-best nine runs on a dozen hits with three runs scored. Savanna Scripter, who is hitting .410, has a team-high 16 hits that brought in five RBI. Both Ally Cifaratta and Maddie Southers own 11 hits. The later brought in five runs, while the former scored six and plated two. Caitlin Murphy rounds out the top threats at the plate with 10 hits.  

The trio of Ella Turnbull (6.27 ERA, 22.1 IP, 16 K), Ashlyn Conley (16.0 IP, 7.00 ERA, 5 K) and Ava Brandow (34.2 IP, 7.88 ERA, 23 K) have been the most successful twirlers for the Rams. 

FIGHTING SCOTS FACTS
Gordon was swept by Western New England Sunday to move to 10-12 on the year and 0-2 in CCC action.  

Ami Rivera has one of the most powerful bats in the CCC with 33 hits on a slash line of .516/.537/.922 with 23 RBI. Emily Peterson has recorded 29 hits on a .397 average with nine RBI. Jayden Johnson (21 H, 15 RBI, 6 R), Isabella Rivera (24 H, 13 RBI, 20 R), and Mara Little (22 H, 8 RBI, 11 R) are consistent contributors to the Fighting Scots offense as well. 

The duo of Little and Emily Graham are the usual starters for Gordon, Little holds a 3.43 ERA through 67.1 innings with 30 punchouts. Graham, meanwhile, has built a 6.67 ERA over 42.0 innings with 14 strikeouts.

• Suffolk had rattled off three wins in a row against Gordon to move to 4-1 all-time against the Fighting Scots. 
• The Rams are 1-1 when playing as the away team in Wenham, Massachusetts. 
• The blue-and-gold has outscored Gordon, 17-10. 
• There has been one shutout in the all-time series. Suffolk blanked Gordon last season, 1-0, April 3, 2022.
