HOW IT HAPPENED
Concordia used a three-run second-inning to grab an advantage it never let it go.

The Rams got on the board in the top of the fourth thanks to Ava Brandow's double that scored Julia Newcomb, who pinch ran for Savannah Scripter, who led off the inning with a single through the left side.

In the home half of the inning the Tornados got that run back and added another to make it a 5-1 game and two frames later they extended the edge to five.

Delaney Doidge opened the top of the seventh with a double to center to keep Suffolk alive and Rebecca Gonzalez plated the sophomore with a triple to left center to trim the gap down to four. The Rams would be held there though as Kannzas Haydel went on to retire the side to 6-2 final.
