BOSTON – Suffolk softball has its final regular-season full weekend as it battles CCC POD A foe Roger Williams in a home-and-home. The Rams will host the Hawks Saturday, April 24, before venturing to Bristol, Rhode Island, Sunday, April 25. Both twinbills have a 12 p.m. start.

LAST TIME OUT
Game two of Suffolk softball's CCC doubleheader at the University of New England was halted in the bottom of the fourth due to inclement weather. 

At the time of the called game, the Rams led the Nor'Easters, 7-6, however, the hosts threatened as it had runners on first and third with no outs.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk is 10-15 on the year after defeating UNE, 2-1, in game one of a CCC doubleheader on Wednesday, April 20. 

The Rams offense is well-rounded with Ashley Zulla leading the way in hits (34) and RBI (25) with the senior catcher second on the squad in runs scored with 21 behind Caitlin Murphy's 26. Murphy has proven her quick steps on the base paths with 20 stolen bases to go along with 29 hits and five RBI. Ally Cifaratta is a consistent contributor as well with 33 hits, 19 RBI and 20 runs scored.

Constance Phelan has made the most of her senior season in the circle. She brings in a 3.36 ERA with 40 Ks over 75.0 innings. Kennedy Reyes is Suffolk's other starting twirler with the junior holding a 4.46 ERA and 52 strikeouts in 69.0 innings of work. Leina Belog comes in to pitch for the Rams and has assembled a 4.79 ERA with 22 punchouts in 19.0 frames.

HAVE TO KNOW ABOUT THE HAWKS
Roger Williams rides a three-game win streak into the weekend that pushed its record to 15-13 overall. 

Katrina Goria paces the Hawks 160-run offense with 36 hits, 24 RBI and 21 runs scored on a .439 batting average. Sydney Provencal also has 30-plus hits with 31 to her credit to go with a team-high 23 runs scored and 12 RBI. 

RWU has options on the rubber with four different hurlers getting action. Lia Nocella (3.50 ERA, 40.0 IP, 34 Ks) and Ellie Fleming (3.69 ERA, 36.0 IP, 21 Ks) have proven to be the Hawks go-to starters with Taylor Myers (2.30 ERA, 21.1 IP, 5 Ks) Roger Williams' closer. Jessie Robichea (21.0 ERA, 2.1 IP, 1 K) has also thrown a few frames for the Hawks.
