WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Suffolk men's outdoor track & field's Tim Barry and Thomas Novy had personal-best performances at William & Mary's Colonial Relays over the weakened to lock up spots at the 2023 NCAA Division III New England Regionals.  

Both Barry and Novy shined against some of the toughest competition they'll face all season with over 250 institutions competing in Williamsburg, Virginia including multiple power 5 programs.  

Barry clocked a personal-best 1:56.12 in the 800 en route to a 12th-place performance in the field of 66. Novy, meanwhile, shave 30 seconds off his personal-record in the 10k as he finished the 10k in the pouring rain in 31:13.61 to secure 18th. 

The duo will rejoin the remainder of the Rams for next Saturday's Jim Sheehan Memorial Invite at Fitchburg State.
