CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Two Rams of the Suffolk men's outdoor track & field team represented the blue-and-gold at MIT's Final Qualifier at the Don and Sherie Morrison Track. Brady Sorensen competed in the long jump, while Michael Balestra threw the hammer.  

Sorensen, a sophomore, topped the three-jumper field in the long jump with a leap of 6.81 meters. Balestra, meanwhile, concluded his senior season with a 50.05-meter heave in the hammer. 

Both Suffolk student-athletes were aiming to put together a mark high enough to qualify for 2022 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships, but neither managed to achieve the necessary feats.
