BOSTON – Suffolk men's indoor track & field was represented by six Rams across five events at the New England Division III Indoor Track & Field Championship over the weekend at the Track at New Balance.
Tim Barry highlighted the group of runners with a personal-best performance in the 800. The senior clocked a 1:54.48, good for 10th in the 25-participant field.
Barry was one a part of the Rams record 4x800 team as well that included Luke Sikora, Evan Wright and Kely Maloney. That quartet ran to an 8:02.59 to secure 10th of the 22 relay squads.
Sikora, who competed as an individual at indoor regionals for the first time, logged a 2:36.10 in the 1,000, to claim 18th.
Carter Nevulis hurled to 12th with a time of 8.61.
Thomas Novy rounded out the Rams in the 5000. He finished 13th behind a 15:15.62 performance.
Suffolk has a pair of events on its calendar this weekend: the NEICAAA Championships Friday, March 1 at the Track and Tufts' Last Chance National Qualifier Saturday, March 2.
