Men’s Indoor Track & Field Hosts and Competes at Suffolk Ice Breaker Invitational

BOSTON – Suffolk men's indoor track & field got its second semester underway Saturday at the second annual Rams Suffolk Ice Breaker Invitational at the Track at New Balance. 

Fifteen Rams compete across eight events Saturday with five personal records set and two student-athletes making debuts in new events. 

SUFFOLK STANDOUTS

  • Brady Sorensen was the only Ram to finish within the top-10 of any event. The senior leapt to seventh in the long jump with a 6.54-meter leap. 
  • Joshua Catino (3.50) and Owen Campbell (3.35) placed one after another in 12th and 13th, respectively, in the pole vault. 

RAMS RECORDS

  • Turner Mitchell clocked a personal record in the 60, 7.35. 
  • Brendan Eddy's 26.26 in the 200 was a career-high. 
  • Kely Maloney did one lap around the track in a personal-best 54.86. 
  • Jacob Dubin logged a PR of 9:20.68 in the 3k. 
  • Catino cleared a personal-best 3.50 in the pole vault.
