Barry to Represent Men’s Track & Field at Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener

BOSTON – For the first time since 2021-22, a Ram will be featured at Boston University's Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener as Suffolk men's indoor track & field senior captain Tim Barry is set to race the mile Saturday, Dec. 2.

THE FIELD
Over 40 schools that represent all NCAA Divisions will compete at BU Saturday. IN addition to Suffolk, other notable Division III Programs set to be in attendance are Colby, MIT, Tufts and Williams.  

BARRY BREAKDOWN
Tim Barry, a distance runner from Westborough, Massachusetts, was accepted into the mile at Boston University's annual season-opening event. The senior captain has a goal of qualifying for the NCAA Division III New England Regionals. He is coming off a cross country campaign in which he became the second-ever male Ram to race at NCAA Championships. 

SUFFOLK'S SCHEUDLE
The Rams are set to cap off the 2023 portion of its schedule next Saturday, Dec. 10 at the Track at New Balance at UMass Boston's Beacon Invitational.
