BOSTON – Suffolk will wrap up March action with back-to-back road battles March 29-30. The Rams will travel to Salve Regina Wednesday, before visiting Bridgewater State Thursday. Both matches have 3:30 p.m. first serves.

LAST TIME OUT
Suffolk men's tennis saw its season opener and Commonwealth Coast Conference debut spoiled as Gordon shutout the Rams, 9-0, Friday at the Brigham Athletic Complex.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk sits 0-1 on the year and in CCC competition after being swept by Gordon in its season-debut last Friday, March 24. 

Mehdi Mere (No. 1), Daniel Dayn (No. 2) and Mikhail Reilly (No. 5) made their Suffolk debuts versus the Fighting Scots, while Hasan Esrawi (No. 3), Diego Hernandez-Pons (No. 4) and Milind Kulkarni (No. 6) returned to the singles line-up. 

Esrawi and Dayn teamed up as the blue-and-gold's top tandem in doubles play. 

SEAHAWKS SAYINGS
Salve Regina holds a 1-1 overall mark on the year after being shut out by Post and taking down Rhode Island College, 5-4. 

Sam Middleton holds the top racket for the Seahawks. He sits 1-1 in both singles and doubles with partner Jake Foulise from the first court.

INSIDE THE SERIES

• Suffolk and Salve Regina will meet for the second time in as many years and in program history according to the Rams' record books, which date through the 2009 campaign.
• The Rams are 0-1 versus the Seahawks all-time after falling to SRU, 6-3, in the 2022 season finale April 23.
• Suffolk will play at SRU for the first time. 

BEARS BREAKDOWN
Bridgewater State fell to Wentworth, 5-4, in its 2023 debut Friday, March 24 to carry a 0-1 mark in Thursday's tilt.

Kendan Ziegler premiered as the Bears ace, but fell to the Leopards top player. In singles, Sean Nutter (No. 2), Charles Fiske (No. 4), Matthew Krampf (No. 5) and Tyler Barros (No. 6) all found the win column in the first match of the year.

BSU has yet to tally a victory in doubles play. Fiske and Ziegler partnered up as the top team.
