2022 SUFFOLK MEN'S TENNIS SCHEDULE

BOSTON – The Suffolk men's tennis team is set to take to the court in 11 regular-season matches this spring, under the direction of interim head coach Scott Blanchard.

The Rams' 2022 campaign, their first after two years away from the court due to challenges from COVID-19, will kick off over the final week of March. The first three matches will be played on the road with the season-opener set for Thursday, March 24 at Eastern Nazarene with Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) at Curry and Wentworth following Saturday, March 26 and Tuesday, March 29, respectively.

From there, Suffolk will see its first chance to defend home court Thursday, March 31 when Bridgewater State pays the blue-and-gold a visit to wrap up the opening month of action.

April begins with away action as well as Suffolk heads to Western New England Saturday, April 2.

Back-to-back matches in Boston follow as Roger Williams (April 9) and Endicott (April 12) stop by Suffolk

On Thursday, April 14, the Rams will take a break from league competition to take on the Anchormen of Rhode Island College.

After the pit stop in Providence, the focus returns to the conference calendar, as a trip to Gordon (April 16), and home matches with Nichols (April 19) and Salve Regina (April 23) conclude the regular-season scheduled.

Blanchard's eight-man roster is divided evenly between returners (4) and newcomers (4). The experience is limited, however, as the group, now all juniors and seniors, may have only had the chance to compete as freshmen back in 2019.
