BOSTON – The Suffolk men's tennis team will take the road for the first time in 2017 as the Rams make the short trip across the Boston Commons to Emerson Saturday, April 1 for a 12 p.m. match.

LAST TIME OUT
The Suffolk men's tennis team fell in its season opener 7-2 to UMass Boston Thursday night at Buckingham, Browne & Nichols.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk opened its 2017 slate March 30 with a 7-2 setback to UMass Boston at Buckingham, Browne & Nichols. 

Omar Azzaoui was the main ingredient to the Rams' two points on the first day of the season with the freshman teaming up with sophomore Chris Parnagian for a doubles victory. Suffolk's second team earned an 8-4 decision, before Azzaoui cruised to a golden match singles triumph in the third slot.  

LOOK AT THE LIONS
Emerson served its first serve of the season in February at Southern New Hampshire, where the Lions were swept 9-0 to bring a 0-1 record into Saturday's showdown. 

Daniel Okin plays as the Lions ace in singles and teamed up with Andrew Cooper as Emerson's top tandem.

Suffolk remains on the road Monday, April 3 as it makes the trip to Curry for a 3 p.m. match.
