UNITED SOCCER COACHES REGION II POLL

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – In the midst of its CCC Semifinal run, Suffolk men's soccer landed fifth in Region II in the latest ranking by the United Soccer Coaches organization, it was announced Tuesday.

The Rams ended the regular season 9-5-4 overall and 4-2-2 versus CCC counterparts, good for the fourth seed in the 2023 CCC Tournament. Suffolk secured a spot in the semis after shutting out fifth seed Endicott, 1-0, in the first-round, Oct. 28.

Bill Maddock's squad, who made its program-debut in the regional ranks in the Poll 1, Sept. 12, 2023 of this season, has not missed a week since, and spent three weeks receiving votes in the national poll. Suffolk is one of three CCC teams featured in the Region II poll this week alongside Roger Williams and Gordon, who sat sixth and eighth, respectively.

Suffolk aims to punch its second straight ticket to the CCC Championship this afternoon at top-seed Western New England.
