SUFFOLK ATHLETICS 2021-22 FAN POLICY
Suffolk University Athletics, following guidance from the University's health and safety protocols, Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC), Centers for Disease Control and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, plans to allow fans to attend home athletic contests during the 2021-22 academic and athletic year.

Fans, whether vaccinated or unvaccinated, can attend games. They must be masked the entire time they are on campus, pursuant to institutional policy, and complete a health screening form at the security desk of each building upon arrival. This policy applies to home contests played on campus at the Ridgeway Building's Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court, as well as the Emmons Horrigan O'Neil Memorial Rink and the Louis E. Porrazzo Memorial Skating Rink.

For outdoor outings, specifically at East Boston Memorial Park, fans are asked to respect COVID safety protocols. At this time, masks will not be mandated for fans no matter vaccinated status at outdoor venues.

SUFFOLK SCORES

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk ventures to Rhode Island in a share of sixth in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) with a 4-4-0 league ledger. The 8-7-1 Rams playoff picture depends a lot on the outcome of Tuesday's tilt, however, win or lose, the blue-and-gold will appear in the CCC post-season no matter the outcome.

The Rams' success has been thanks in large part to graduate student Nigel Leo, who is one of the biggest offensive threats in the conference with the 24 points, the fourth-most points in the league, behind 11 goals, the third-most markers in the CCC.  Leo is complimented on offense by freshmen Miguel Varela (5g, 4a), and Erik Van Even (4g, 3a) and sophomore Brady Sorensen (5g, 3a).

In net, Suffolk has relied on three sets of goalie gloves in freshman Xander Balog (1.99 GAA, .686 save%) and seniors Tom Bennett (1.66 GAA, .682 save%) and Alfredo Serrano Figueroa (0.76 GAA, .800 save%).

HAVE TO KNOW 'BOUT THE HAWKS
Roger Williams is tied for first in the CCC standings with Endicott with a 6-1-1 CCC record and 9-6-3 overall mark.

The Hawks 35-goal offense is well-balanced. Javi Beltran's 11 goals paves the way as the senior forward is on the cusp of 30 points with 29. Justin Horvath and Jack Wetzel are consistent contributors as well with five goals apiece. The former has set-up three scores as well for 13 points, while the latter has one assist to his credit for 11 points.

Jack Avellar and John Padavano have been on a consistent rotation in net for RWU. Avellar brings in a 4-1-3 record with three shutouts behind a 1.15 GAA and 0.841 save percentage. Padavano holds a 4-4-0 mark with a 1.61 GAA and .636 save percentage.
