Sophomore Danny Lloyd (Tegucigalpa, Honduras) earned GNAC Player of the Year honors for the 2009 season. Lloyd, finished the season with 12 goals, second most within the GNAC, and 3 assists for a total of 27 points on the season. Lloyd led the Rams with 68 shots, including a team best 41 shots on goal.  In 16 games this season, Lloyd had at least one goal in 10 contests for the Rams. Lloyd's 0.8 goals per game average was ranked 35th best among all NCAA Division-III players and tops within the league. He also led the league with a 1.80 points per game average, which also ranked him 42nd in the country. Lloyd was named to the GNAC Weekly Honor Roll on two occasions this season (September 7, and September 16). Recognized in 2008 as the GNAC's Rookie of the Year, Lloyd has now scored 17 goals in 27 career games to go along with 6 assists for a total of 40 points in a two-year span. Along with being named Player of the Year, Lloyd was also a first team All-Conference selection.
