BOSTON – Suffolk men's hockey's final full regular-season weekend slate features Salve Regina and Endicott. The Rams will host the Seahawks Friday, Feb. 9 at 6 p.m. at Louis E. Porrazzo Memorial Skatign Rink before battling the Gulls in Beverly Saturday, Feb. 10 at 3 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
Three unanswered Bison goals upstaged the Rams back-to-back tallies in the middle period and proved to be the difference in a Commonwealth Coast Conference affair Saturday night at Louis E. Porrazzo Memorial Skating Rink, which Suffolk loss 3-2 to Nichols.  as Suffolk men's hockey fell to Nichols, 3-2.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk (5-15-2, 4-10-1 CCC) looks to crack into the CCC postseason conversation, but has its work cut out this weekend as it takes on two of the top three teams in Salve Regina and Endicott.  

The Rams offensive output has been sparked by graduate student Devin Lowe and Nick Liotino this season. The duo are the only skaters in blue-and-gold with double figure point lines. Lowe tops the team in points (17) and assists (13) and has found the back of the net four times. Liotino, meanwhile, has a 10-point stat line on four goals and six set-ups. Ryan Webb has proved to be the biggest scoring threat with a team-high six strikes to his credit.  

CJ Hapward has been Suffolk's go-to goalie throughout the second semester schedule. The junior transfer brings in a 2.11 GAA and .937 save percentage. 

SEAHAWKS SAYINGS
Salve Regina was swept in a home-and-home series with Curry last weekend to move to 13-7-2 on the year and 8-5-2 in CCC competition.   

The twosome of Matthew Fawcett (15, 13a) and Johnny Mulera (12g, 14) have surpassed the 20-point mark this season to anchor the Seahawks' 82-goal scoring unit.  

In net, Cayden Bailey has taken on the bulk of the workload. In 19 games played, 17 starts, he has assembled a .934 save percentage and a 2.22 GAA. 

WE MEET AGAIN
Suffolk opened its 2023-24 CCC slate versus Salve Regina Nov. 3-4, 2023. The Rams fell to the Seahawks in both battles of the home-and-home series. At SRU, the blue-and-gold dropped a 5-2 decision, before an 8-3 setback in Eastie.

EYES ON THE GAME

GET TO KNOW THE GULLS 
In a home-and-home with Western New England a week ago, Endicott defeated the Golden Bears, 8-2, before the teams skated to a 3-3 tie. That series put Endicott at 13-4-5 on the year and 10-2-2 in CCC action.  

Five different skaters have hit supplied 20-plus points to the Gulls 80-goal offense in Andrew Kurapov (9g, 16a), Ryan Willett (6g, 17a), Zach Mazur (8g, 13a), Jackson Sterrett (11g, 10a) and Michael Casey (7g, 13a). 

Atticus Kelly (1.90 GAA, .942 save%) and Ryan Wilson (1.87 GAA, .937 save%) have split time in net this season, both starting and playing in 11 contests.  

WE MEET AGAIN
Endicott topped Suffolk, 3-0, in Beverly, Jan. 26, before the Rams fell to the Gulls, 4-1 the following night at Porrzzo Rink.

JOE CONCANNON SEMINFIALIST
Graduate student captain Devin Lowe of the Suffolk men's hockey team has been selected as a semifinalist for the Joe Concannon Award, given annually to the best American-born college hockey player in New England at the NCAA Division II/III level, Gridiron of Greater Boston President Tim Whelan, Jr., announced Thursday morning. Lowe is one of 38 of the top hockey players across two divisions in New England collegiate hockey and highlights the early hopefuls of the 23rd annual honor.
